Systemic is defined as something that is spread throughout, system-wide, affecting a group or system, such as a body, economy, market or society as a whole. The 'System' we will be focusing on primarily will be the United States and its structure of society as a whole. Programming for our purposes will encompass our upbringing that has shaped us (our beliefs, our behavior) since birth. This would include all of the "nature" or environmental conditions we were raised in. Essentially, this would pertain to family, friends, schools, religious and other groups, and our exposure to news, media, and the wide, wide world while our brains and bodies were developing. It is understood that each childhood is specific and unique, however, there are many general things the masses have been introduced to that has had a large impact on how we view each other as a society, and how we respond to distinct situations. These views have sculpted and structured groups, laws, governments, neighborhoods, education standards, and many other facets of our human experience. Let's start the dialog. Let's take the deep dive to understand what makes each one of us tick. We grow, we evolve when we share and learn from each other. What has shaped you? Share.
